Peruvian Pisco Cocktails

July 29, 2016 By Alan

It’s Perú’s independence day yayyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Pisco is our signature drink and it’s super versatile! I love using it to flambé food, to make certain desserts and of course to drink! Today I give you a mini post showing you different drinks you can make to indulge the peruvian in you: raspberry and blueberry mojito, a classic lemon “chilcano” and finally a passion fruit pisco sour. Give them all to me in a jug any day ;). Viva el Perú!

Raspberry and blueberry mojito (1 glass):

– 3 raspberries + 2 for garnish
– 3 blueberries + 2 for garnish
– 5 mint or peppermint leaves + 4 for garnish
– juice from 1/2 lemon
– 100ml pisco (ideally grapes Torontel or Moscatel)
– 20g sugar
– lots of ice
– fill up with ginger ale

Crush the sugar with the raspberries, blueberries and lemon juice. Mix with the pisco and add to your glass, where you add the ice and ginger ale :)! Finish with some fresh raspberries and blueberries and mint leaves. Sip away!

This one is easy and extremely yummy! Just mix everything together and top up with ginger ale 🙂

Passion fruit pisco sour

– 150ml pisco
– 70g sugar
– 1/3 egg white
– 6 ice cubes
– 50ml passion fruit juice (ideally fresh)

This is a different version from the classic lemon pisco sour which is really nice and sweet 🙂 I really like it! Put everything in the blender until the ice breaks up and that’s it! Enjoy
